The LG model has taken the Thor improvements and added more features. The controls are electronic, which allow Delayed Start, Child Lock-out, electronic display of minutes until completion, etc. The LGs have utilized a Direct-Drive motor which is quieter. The internal configuration of the Direct Drive motor has afforded 25% more capacity than the Thor model. However, this increase in capacity does not mean that the LG does full-size loads. This model of LG also has an automatic sensor for ending the dry cycle as well as a timed dryer.
